Overview At Blake McMullen Training LLC, I take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how I collect, use, and protect your personal information in compliance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).
1. Information I Collect
Identifiers: Name, email, phone number, date of birth, and address
Health information: Injury history, medical conditions, and PAR-Q data necessary to design safe programs
Biometric data: Wearable data (Apple Health, Whoop, etc.) synced via TrueCoach
Financial information: Payment details processed through QuickBooks — I never store full card numbers
Internet activity: IP addresses and browsing behavior collected via website analytics
2. How I Use Your Data I use your information only to deliver and improve my services — including building your training program, scheduling sessions, processing payments, and communicating with you. If you opt in at intake, I may send occasional training tips. I use Google Ads for retargeting, which under California law constitutes "sharing" of data. You may opt out at any time (see Section 5).
3. Service Providers I do not sell your data. I share it only with the following tools I use to operate my business, each of which is contractually obligated to protect it:
TrueCoach — training programming and wearable data sync
Calendly — appointment scheduling
QuickBooks — billing and tax compliance
Google Calendar — session scheduling
Zapier — automated workflows between the above tools only, no external sharing
Framer — website hosting and visitor analytics
Google Ads — behavioral retargeting (opt-out available, see Section 5)
I use Claude (by Anthropic) for general business tasks. I do not input any identifiable client information into AI tools — all data used is anonymized.
4. Children's Privacy I occasionally train athletes under 16. I do not collect data from minors without explicit parental consent. Contact me immediately at blake@bmcmtraining.com if you believe I have done so.
5. Your California Privacy Rights As a California resident you have the right to:
Know what data I've collected about you since January 1, 2022
Request deletion of your personal information
Request corrections to inaccurate information
Opt out of data sharing for Google Ads retargeting
Request that health data be used only for training purposes
To exercise any of these rights, email blake@bmcmtraining.com with the subject line "Privacy Request."
6. Data Retention
Training data: Retained for 1 year after our relationship ends
Financial and legal records: Retained for 7 years per tax obligations
7. Data Breach Notification In the event of a breach affecting your data, I will notify you as required by California law without unreasonable delay.
