Privacy Policy: Blake McMullen Training LLC
Effective Date: March 21, 2026
At Blake McMullen Training LLC, I take your privacy as seriously as your PRs. This policy explains how I collect, use, and protect your data in compliance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).
1. Information I Collect
In the last 12 months, I have collected the following categories of personal information:
Identifiers: Name, email, phone number, date of birth, and physical address.
Sensitive Personal Information: Health history (PAR-Q), injury records, and medical conditions necessary to design safe programs.
Biometric Information: Data synced from wearables (Apple Health, Whoop, etc.) via TrueCoach.
Financial Information: Payment details processed securely via Intuit QuickBooks. I do not see or store your full credit card numbers on my own servers.
Internet Activity: IP addresses and browsing behavior via Squarespace.
2. How I Use Your Data
I use your information strictly for:
Service Delivery: Creating your training programs and tracking progress.
Communication: Scheduling via Calendly, updates via Gmail, and project management in Trello/Google Sheets.
Payments: Billing and tax compliance via QuickBooks.
Marketing: If you opt-in, I may send you training tips. I plan to use Google Ads for "cross-context behavioral advertising" (showing you ads based on your visit to my site).
3. Sharing Your Data (The "Hell No" Clause)
I do not, and will never, sell your personal information to third parties. I only "share" your data with Service Providers who help me run my business (e.g., TrueCoach, QuickBooks). Under California law, using Google Ads for retargeting is considered "sharing" for behavioral advertising. You have the right to opt out of this (see Section 7).
4. Children’s Privacy
I occasionally train athletes under the age of 16. I do not knowingly collect data from minors without explicit parental or guardian consent. If you are a parent and believe I have collected data from your child without consent, please contact me immediately.
5. Data Retention
Training Data: I retain your workout logs and health history for one (1) year after our professional relationship ends.
Legal/Financial Data: I retain billing and contract records for seven (7) years to comply with tax and legal obligations.
6. Automated Decision-Making
I do not use AI or automated algorithms to generate your programming. Every rep and set is reviewed and assigned by a human (Blake McMullen).
7. Your California Privacy Rights
As a California resident, you have the right to:
Know/Access: Request a record of what data I have collected about you since January 1, 2022.
Delete: Request that I delete your personal information (subject to legal exceptions).
Correct: Ask me to fix inaccurate info.
Opt-Out of Sharing: Request that I do not "share" your data for Google Ads/retargeting.
Limit Use of Sensitive Info: Request that I only use your health data for the specific purpose of training you.
